STA Homecoming ~ 2013

This evening we met in Eden Prairie before the Homecoming dance.  The Burke's were kind enough to open their home for over 60 students.  They had dinner from Bucca and took pictures while dodging the rain.  We enjoyed visiting with the parents and seeing the smile on your face!!! We are very happy that you are able to experience these events with such wonderful people!

Cole was riding the go cart on Sunday afternoon, the steering went out, the go cart hit a sign.  You were thrown from the go cart and broke your collar bone.  4-6 weeks with the sling and we are here to help you with whatever you need to heal properly!  Take it easy Cole E, we want to help you!

The Visitation Homecoming dance was a lot of fun for Cole and his friends.  We met with his friend Ryan and his parents in Bloomington before dropping off the boys in Edina. There were about 40 kids meeting at the home.  
They had dinner, took picture and hung out before the dance. 
 After the dance Cole and his friends went to an after party in Mendota Heights.  

What a fun night for the kids!

Cole's First Day of School - 08.26.13

10th Grade - STA

This first day of school is like no other in our house.  Cole's morning ride to school starts at 6:50 and ends at 7:15 in Mendota Heights at St. Thomas Academy.  In the morning, Cole and Dad leave the house and travel us Hwy 52.  He spends the day at The Academy and in the afternoon I make my way up to get him and bring him home.  We really enjoy the time we get to spend with Cole as we travel, and as excited as he is to get his license, we will miss that time with him in the car!!!

Jumping for joy!!!  School starts today!  Calli is very excited to start school today!
She enjoys learning!  Our conversation this morning before school... "Mom, what time does the bell ring to start school?"  "Calli, the first bell rings at 8:15"  "Mom, what time do I start learning?"

Our day begins at 6:15am.  Getting ready for school and work.  But we all take a break from 6:30-6:45 for morning coffee... It may be very quite but extremely enjoyable!!!

Sunday, August 25 we spent the afternoon sweating and running to raise money for children to have a new home in India.

Calli, you did not want to run because it was too hot.  We went with the intention to run one mile,you made it a mile and a half!

You had a lot of fun running through the color and getting water for Mom & Dad at the end of the race.

  We really enjoyed the day and you were very happy to have raced! Your favorite part was the color explosion at the end of the race! (Well, also an ice cream cone at Cow Interrupted helped us cool down afterwards!)  

Can't wait to do it again!!!
